ASSURE Model Lesson Plan
What was the task to be completed?
Create a lesson plan, using the assure model, for a specific subject, grade and using a topic which falls under the subject area chosen.

My lesson plan was based on water pollution for a grade 4 social studies class and its duration was for an hour. I proceeded to first analyzing my learners in the classroom. I then proceeded to stating my objectives using the Bloom's Taxonomy as my guide. I then selected my intended media, the methods i'll use to teach and the materials i'll be utilizing in the classroom. I then stated how i would go about utilizing the media and materials. From this, I wrote my procedural development inclusive of my introduction and closing content. Lastly, I mentioned how i was going to evaluate the effectiveness of my lesson whether through student-teacher assessments or evaluating my students and media or materials used.
What were the challenges faced in this class? If any, how were they overcome?
I did not really face any challenges in this lesson outside of having to rephrase some objectives.
Was there anything new learnt as a result of this teaching-learning experience? If yes, what was it and how did you benefit from it?
I learned how to create the ASSURE Model Lesson plan and how i could integrate technology into my lessons.
Explain how you will use/implement what was covered in the lesson, in your classroom.
I could utilize the ASSURE Model Lesson Plan in my lessons to promote the use of technology and grabbing my students attention.
