                  Digital Native Vs Digital Immigrant

  What was the task?

   Differentiate between a Digital Native and a Digital Immigrant

  Outline step-by-step instructions in how to complete the task.

    1. Identify whether I was a Digital Native or Digital Immigrant.

                  -I think that I am between both.

   2. Explain the reason for my answer

       My reasoning would be that:

   -I tend to be attached to my device

  - I am multimedia oriented

  -Born after the digital age

  -I can multitask 

     While I also:

  - Don't enjoy social interactions

  - Find it hard to keep up with new trending technologies such as apps

 3. Justify my explanation with a real life situation

    I thought I misplaced my phone on the bus and while  being unable to locate it, I realized that I did not secure some of my files on it for such an eventuality which is what a tech savvy person would have done. I found my phone in my bag after though. 

  What were the challenges faced in doing the task, if any, and explain how were they overcome?

    It took me a bit of time to realize that I shared qualities of both sides of the isle. 

   Were there anything new learnt,as a result of the teaching and learning experience? If  yes, what was it, and explained how you benefited from it.

    I would say that I took away knowledge of my place within the technological era today. 

   Explain how you will use/implement what was covered, in the lesson, in your classroom.

              
    I would use this to show students the pros and cons of technology.
